Medium bodied, dry white made from grapes grown on the Cromarty vineyard, in the Southern Valley subregion of Marlborough with older soils of clay and glacial outwash.
With Sustainable Winegrowing and Vegan Friendly certifications.

Appellation: Marlborough

Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaking: The grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch pressed to gently extract juice. The juice was then fermented in seasoned French oak barriques with natural indigenous yeast from Mount Riley’s vineyard and winery. Lees stirring was carried out post fermentation to build weight, texture and complexity. The wine matured on lees for 8 months post fermentation with no sulphur added until just prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes: Pale straw colour. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus and freshly cut grass. Fresh and fruity on the palate, with floral notes, toasty flavor and a light creaminess. A wine with a lot of personality, suitable for serving with seafood, chicken and Asian cuisine.
Best served from 2022 to 2025.
