What do the experts say?

Jancis Robinson: smells younger than the 99! Tea and figs and something incredible tangty. Cofee. But the astounding thing is the freshness. And the spice. And the complexity. And the texture. Oolong, dates, chocolate, salt and shimmer. I want to go to bed with this wine...
Drink Anytime.

Tamlyn Currin [J.R.]: If the '99 was a sculpture, the '69 is like a national museum, a massive colonnaded building broached by marble steps and filled with light and shadows, edifices and crannies, vaults and ringing corridors and dust and treasures. It is also a wine that deserves hours and hours of silent conversations, listening and contemplation.
