Elegant dry red wine made from grapes from two plots of land that are over 20 years old and cultivated under dry land conditions; one on schist soils and the other on worn granite. Formation in low-yield bushvines and harvested by hand.
13.5% vol.

Appellation: Paarl

Grape Variety: 93% Pinotage, 7% Grenache

Winemaking: Sustainable Certificate by Integrated Production of Wine (IPW) - Vegan Friendly
Destemmed and cold macerated for two days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks after which the must has been quickly separated from its skins due to the high phenolic concentration of the Pinotage variety. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (15% new).

Tasting Notes: Dark garnet. Aroma of cherry and raspberry with notes of cedar and vanilla. A modern and elegant example of the Pinotage variety, with a great concentration of red fruit. Good structure, with very soft tannins. Ideal with roasts or grilled meat. Best enjoyed: 2023 to 2028.
