Medium-bodied, dry & aromatic white made from 50-70 year old vines grown on the narrow terraces above the village of Weissenkirchen. Weathered loess soils over a metamorphic subsoil, ideal for cultivation of Riesling. Manually harvested. 12% vol.

Tasting Notes: Pale yellow with greenish tinge. Ripe fruit aroma with good minerality and a touch of botrytis on nose. Dry, refreshing excellent acidity and balance. Best enjoyed: 2020 to 2028.

Stephane Reinhadt (Wine Advocate): This wine has a bright color and opens with fresh and concentrated fruit aromas with a touch of botrytis. Round, intense and fresh on the palate, this is a light and straight but juicy Riesling with good vitality and purity in the finish.
