Dry aromatic white made from a vineyard planted between 1950 & 1970, located next to the famous Achleiten site, near the village of Weissenkirchen. Weathered loess soils over a paragneiss subsoil, ideal for cultivation of Riesling. 12% vol.

Awards: Wine Advocate: 87+ points.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow with greenish tinge. Ripe fruit aroma with good minerality and a touch of botrytis on nose. Dry, refreshing excellent acidity and balance. Best enjoyed: 2020 to 2028.
Presentation: Cardboard boxes of 6 bottles.
Stephane Reinhadt (Wine Advocate): This wine has a bright color and opens with fresh and concentrated fruit aromas with a touch of botrytis. Round, intense and fresh on the palate, this is a light and straight but juicy Riesling with good vitality and purity in the finish.
