Elegant, medium-bodied dry red made from grapes grown on 30 year-old vines located near the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Red alluvial soil with layers of pebbles and gravel caused by erosion of the limestone over clay. Manual harvest. Viticulture certified sustainable from both HVE (level 3) and Terra Vitis.

Appellation: Nuits-Saint-Georges

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Winemaking: 100% de-stemmed and given a cold maceration for 5 days before fermentation. Daily pump over during fermentation. The wine is matured in French oak barrels (10% new) for 18 months. Lightly filtered before bottling.

Tasting Notes: Best enjoyed: 2023 - 2030.
