Winemaking: Eighteen months of ageing in Slovenian casks and French oak barrels help make this Barbera much smoother than most in its class. Additional 9 months of maturation in 500 litres wooden barrels followed by subsequent assembly and ageing in large barrels.

Tasting Notes: Deep cherry red. Aroma of ripe plums, cherries and toasted oak. A highly-concentrated full flavoured wine, with fresh acidity and noteworthy tannins. Highly recommended, but still very young. Best enjoyed: 2025 to 2030
