Full-bodied red made from grapes grown on old vines in rocky, limestone clay soils with "galet", typical of the appellation.
15% vol.

Appellation: Châteauneuf du Pape

Grape Variety: 80% Grenache, 10% Cinsault & 10% Syrah

Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel with the de-stemmed berries macerated for about one month. Daily pumping over and racking of pomace. Final wine is blended and then aged for 18 months in large oak casks (600, 2,500 & 4000 liters).

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby. Aroma of red fruit with toasty notes and dry herbs. Rich & mouth filling with ripe tannins and black cherry flavour. Long finish. Needs some decanting. Best enjoyed: 2024 to 2038.
