Information about the winery

Discover Azienda Vinicola Guido Mazzarello, a small winery located in the picturesque Casaleggio Boiro, in Piedmont, within the prized enclave of Monferrato.
The foundations of this winery date back to the dawn of the 20th century, when great-grandfather Pipino acquired the first plots of land. In that corner of Piedmontese land he planted the first roots of Dolcetto, the native vine that today remains an emblem of the region.
Over time, Pipino's vision was adopted by his son Guido, who gave it a unique identity. Guido, together with his commitment, took the wines beyond the confines of his native village, transcending borders and conquering palates.
Generation after generation, the passion for wine continues. Brothers Andrea and Enrico, Guido's sons, have pushed the project towards modern and international horizons. Their presence at renowned events, such as ProWine and Vinitaly, marks a key chapter in the winery's history.
In the first decade of the 2000s, this vision evolved further with the construction of the new winery, just a few steps away from the original one. This step forward gave them the platform to expand and elevate the quality of their wines, integrating innovative winemaking technologies and employing an advanced bottling line.
