Information about the winery

A family domain for five generations now, Lilian Duplessis is the latest vigneron of an estate created in 1895, taking over for his father Gerard in 1999. He then began an organic conversion which became effective in 2013. Their vines are located in the heart of the best Premier Crus and produce wines that are rarely pleasant in their early youth but age remarkably, to reach superb maturity around eight to ten years. The choice of long aging (tanks, then barrels and blends in vats for at least 18 months) explains the aging capacity of the wines: Montée de Tonnerre, but above all Montmains stand out.
