Elegant, medium-bodied white made from grapes grown in the 1º cru vineyard Mäushöhle [VDP Erste Lage] near the village of Deidesheim. Sandstone soils with layer of forest soil. Manually harvested and Certified Organic Wine.

Appellation: Pfalz

Grape Variety: 100% Riesling

Winemaking: Fermented and aged during 12 months on its fine lees in large wooden vats of 2,400 liters. Not clarified.

Tasting Notes: Pale straw color, bright. Fresh citrus fruit aroma, yellow peaches and mineral notes. Dense, with rich texture and a marked acidity. Ideal served with roast pork, duck or other autumn dishes. Still young. Best enjoyed: 2024 to 2026

Falstaff Guide: A tangerine note characterises the rather restrained bouquet. On the palate, the wine weaves a certain suppleness, tense phenolic compounds and a lively acid structure. The flavours seem closed and the finish is mainly structural in nature.
