Full-bodied red produced from grapes grown in the Maipo district at the foot of the Andes mountains. A classic wine from Chile. Now called "Grand Reserve" 13.8% vol.
Appellation: Valle del Maipo Andes
Grape Variety: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Carmenere & 4% Petit Verdot
Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel tanks & aged for one year in American (60%) and French (40%) oak barrels.
Awards: Descorchados: 90 points
Tasting Notes: Deep red with purplish rim. Aroma of spicy ripe fruit, vanilla & toast. Well structured, with rounded tannins and a smooth finish. Still young. Decant before serving. Best enjoyed: 2024 to 2026
