Elegant and modern style, medium-bodied dry red made from low-yield grapes grown in the Agter-Paarl region. Manually harvested. Certified for integrity & sustainability. 13.5% vol.
Appellation: Coastal
Grape Variety: 91% Pinotage, 7% Grenache & 2% Cinsault.
Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel tanks for five days with frequent punp-overs. The skins were then removed, the must pressed and the fermentation completed. Matured for one year before release, 25% in American oak barrels (20% new).
Awards: Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge: Gold medal (for 2019 vintage)
Tasting Notes: Best enjoyed: 2022 to 2025.
Presentation: Cardboard boxes of 6 bottles with twist-cap closures.
