Extraordinary full-bodied red made from grapes grown on the hillside parcel of Costa Grimaldi near the town of Terlo. Southeast facing vineyard with limestone marl soils.
14.5% vol.

Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo

Winemaking: Fermented in steel and concrete tanks, followed by maceration and racked after 25 days before malolactic fermentation. Four years ageing in barrels and bottles before release.

Raffaele Vecchione: Delicate perfumes of lemon peel, citronella and clemetines. In the background, Bourbon vanilla, currant jam and spices such as white pepper and smoked paprika. Full bodied on the palate, soft tannins and a delicate yet persuasive finale. Better from 2024.
