Halliday: "While not the reserve bottling, the superior quality of '19 shines through. Light, pushing mid-weighted. This is scintillating of fruit purity, intensity of flavour and unbridled length. The acidity, nicely melded. Citrus allusions all shimmer along a juicy spine. This is benchmark Clare. Long, dry and chalky, without excessive rasp."
