Elegant, medium-bodied dry red made from grapes grown in the famouse 1º cru vineyard "Au-dessus des Malconsorts" just west of the village of Vosne Romanee. Brown calcareous soil with a little red clay mixed with small stones. Manual harvest. Viticulture certified sustainable from both HVE (level 3) and Terra Vitis. 13.5% vol.

Appellation: Vosne Romanée 1º Cru

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Winemaking: 100% de-stemmed given a cold maceration for 5 days before fermentation. Daily pump over during fermentation. The wine is matured in French oak barrels (28% new) for 15 to 20 months. Not filtered or fined before bottling.

Tasting Notes: Best enjoyed: 2023 - 2033.
