Francia / Burdeos / Entre-Deux-Mers
Rich, medium-bodied dry white made from grapes grown on the highest hill of the Bordeaux appellation, in the limestone clay soils of Entre-Deux-Mers, in the south. "Rational" viticulture incorporating many organic practices. 12.5% vol.
Appellation: Bordeaux Blanc Sec
Grape Variety: 65% Sauvignon Blanc & 35% Semillon
Winemaking: The alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature controlled 210 hl stainless steel vats. Post fermentation maceration and the malolactic fermentation are also done in vat. Aged during one year in oak barrels before being fined and lightly filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow with greenish tone at the rim. Attractive nose with hints of pineapple and fresh flowers. The chewy, ample palate is underpinned by a hint of refreshing acidity. Harmonious, lingering finish. Best enjoyed: 2023 a 2025.
