Full-bodied, dry red made from a blend of grapes typically found in the Langhe region of the Piedmont. 14.5% vol.
Appellation: Langhe
Grape Variety: 50% Barbera & 50% Nebbiolo
Winemaking: Fermented in large French oak vats and then transferred to small barrels during 10 months. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine is then moved again to large Slovenian oak vats for final ageing.
Tasting Notes: Deep cherry red. A modern and very personal wine, loaded with red & black fruits as well as smoke. Smooth tannins and fresh finish. Serve with red meats or stews. Best enjoyed: 2021 to 2026.
