Adam Perkal, born in Los Angeles, California, lives and works since 1995 on the island of Majorca. After several years as a member of the Faculty of Economics of UCLA, he spent more than a decade working in the world of international banking. Interested in wine since his youth - as a collector, connoisseur and wine lover - he decided in the year 2000 to create his own company, Mundidrinks, to devote himself to his true vocation: business and wine. He lives with his wife Sylvia and daughter Lily in the Majorcan countryside, alongside his five dogs and two cats. In fact, the names of his dogs clearly reflect Adam's love for the product of the grape, having at present Dolcetto, Brunello & Tokaj. Besides managing Mundidrinks, Adam also dedicates a good share of time to wine education. He is part-time faculty at the Artxanda Hospitality school in Bilbao where he teaches courses for sommeliers. He also gives courses of wine appreciation at the Univeristy of the Balearic Islands (UIB) hospitality school and often speaks and participates at professional forums and wine tastings throughout Spain.
Desde principios de 2018 Mundrinks cuenta con este profesional que se dedica a
la distribución de vinos desde 2004. Aunque su pasión por la vid comenzó tarde,
su perseverancia, inquietud y curiosidad le han convertido en un gran conocedor y catador de
Ahora, con su proyecto personal, una colección de vinos de Monastrell "Bruma del Estrecho", surge la idea de colaborar con Mundidrinks y así dar un paso más en su carrera, seguir aprendiendo y devolver al mundo del vino un poco de todo lo que le ha dado: amistad, emoción, conocimiento y sacrificio.
