A boutique family producer of Douro and Port wines, proudly upholding a long-standing tradition in Port wine production that spans five generations. In 2008, as the new generation took over (led by Luísa and Maria Vieira de Sousa), they began bottling and marketing wines under the Vieira de Sousa brand.

Over the years, the winery have expanded our portfolio and grown in international presence. All the wines, both Port and Douro, are crafted exclusively from grapes grown in our nearly 60 hectares of family-owned vineyards, spread across several Quintas along the Douro River. This diversity of terroirs allows them to produce a wide range of exceptional wines each year. Additionally, their cellar maintains a remarkable stock of aged Port wines.

In 2022, thei family's commitment to quality and tradition was recognized when named 'Fortified Wine Producer of the Year' by Revista de Vinhos.
