Founded over 60 years ago, Le Morette estate is a premium wine producer. Located in the Lugana DOC, with Fabio Zenato- president of the Appellation Board- at the helm, it produces a range of top quality and award-winning DOC Lugana wines. With over 30 hectares of vineyards, Le Morette is located on the thin belt that divides the southern bank of lake Garda and lake Frassino, an important nature reserve and home to the Morette species of wild duck. The new winery, inaugurated in 2013, focuses on functional and environmental awareness. Using gravity and a powerful integrated solar energy system, the cellar is almost self-sufficient and the largest photovoltaic producer in the province of Verona.
