Full-bodied red made from ancient vines (100+ years old) grown in Cafayate at an extremely high altitud (over 2,000 meters) in the north of Argentina. 16.2% vol.

Grape Variety: 100% Malbec

Winemaking: Fermented in small vats and aged 18 months in new French oak barrels. Unfined & unfiltered.

Awards: Tim Atkin: 93 points. Wine Advocate: 93 points.

Tasting Notes: Deep garnet color with purple reflections. Intense aroma of black fruit, ripe cherries & violets. Rich, dry & structured, with more black fruit and traces of spices and coffee beans. Long, smooth finish. Ideal with roasted meats, especially lamb chops. Best enjoyed: 2018 to 2025.

Availability: Very limited. Only 3,200 cases produced.
