Elegant, medium-bodied white made from organic grapes grown in vineyards around the village of Deidesheim [VDP. Ortswein]. Sandy soils with pebbles & loess. Manually harvested and certified organic.
12,5% vol.

Appellation: Pfalz

Grape Variety: 100% Riesling

Winemaking: Fermented in large wooden vats (2,400 liter "Doppelstück") with only native yeasts. Aged for 8 months on it fine lees. Bottled without clarifiaction.

Awards: Falstaff: 90 points

Tasting Notes: Bright, pale straw. Aroma of citrus fruit & white peaches with a hint of wood. Dense mouth-feel, with a bracing acidity and beautiful balance. Long, slightly salty finish. Best enjoyed: 2023 a 2026.
