Dry, medium-bodied red made from grapes grown in the Gap's Crown vineyard, located in the "Petaluma Gap," one of the coolest spots on the Sonoma coast. Predominantly loam and clay loam soils. 14,4% vol.
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Ageing: Fermented in open-top tanks with 28% in whole clusters. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels (51% new).
Awards: Jeb Dunnuck: 93 points. Wine Advocate: 92 points.
Tasting Notes: Ideal with duck and other game birds, casseroles or beef stew. Best enjoyed: 2021 to 2026
