William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Notes of sweet strawberries, plums and red fruit compote introduce the 2016 Fleurie Vieilles Vignes Domaine de la Madrière, a medium to full-bodied, juicy wine that's nicely concentrated but quite firm and structured, especially on the finish. It's a little unyielding right now, but I wouldn't bet against it."
