Full-bodied, dry red made a traditional blend of dried grapes, all grown in the historical central zone ("classico") of the appellation. The drying process takes three or four months, during which time the grape sugars are concentrated, allowing a rich & port-like dry wine. 16% vol.
Grape Variety: Corvina 60%, Corvinone 25% y Rondinella 15%
Winemaking: Fermented in large oak vats (50 hl) and aged for two years in smaller oak barrels (350l & 26 hl).
Awards: Luca Maroni: 93 points. Wine Critic: 94 points. Vini buoni d’Italia: 4 Stars.
Tasting Notes: Best enjoyed: 2023 - 2030.
