Refreshing, medium-bodied red made from grapes grown in alluvial loam soils of the Wairarapa Valley.

Appellation: Wairarapa

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Winemaking: Grapes were 100% de-stemmed, cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel vats. Aged during 12 months in used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Ruby red. Fine bouquet of red fruits and spice with hints of sandalwood. Flavor of ripe berries and dark cherries with notes of forest floor and dried leaves. Good structure, fresh acidity with a soft texture and lasting finish. Still young. Best enjoyed: 2022 to 2025.
