Grape Variety: Grillo and Cattarrato
Winemaking: Slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks with the progressive addition of sun-dried grapes. Aged for 7 months in wood barrels followed by one year in the bottle.
Awards: Wine Advocate: 92 points. A. Galloni, I. D’Agata Vinous: 92 points.
Tasting Notes: Bright amber color. Aroma of ripe apricots and orange peel, with hints of sage and peppermint. Rich and fruity, with refreshing acidity and a long finish. Serve with ripe hard cheeses, almond pastries or dark chocolate. 200 grams / liter residual sugar. Best enjoyed: 2022- 2028.
