Tamlyn Curlin [J.R.]: The fruit on this! Quite extraordinary. It's like tasting super-ripe grapes off the vine. I look at my hands almost expecting them to be sticky with grape juice. How on earth does Nicolas Raffy get a VDN to taste so purely of grape juice? But it's also far from one-dimensional. Floral notes - roses and iris - interleave with an intriguing wet-sand minerality. Black raspberries. And pepper. And tannins like smoky jazz, the kind of wine you eant to sip sitting in the garden of midnight. This will probablu age indefinitely. Drink 2023-2045.
