Elegant, medium-bodied dry red made from low-yield grapes grown in the Agter-Paarl region. Manually harvested. Certified for integrity & sustainability. 14% vol.
Appellation: Western Cape
Grape Variety: 85% Merlot, 8% Malbec, 4% Petit Syrah & 4% Petit Verdot.
Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for one year in American oak barrels.
Awards: Gilbert & Gaillard: Gold Medal. Platter Guide: 3.5 stars.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red. Pleasing aroma og blakberries and ummer flowers, prticularly jasmine. Smooth and persistent with hints of chocolate tobacco leaf. Soft tannins. Perfect with roast chicken or grilled meats. Best enjoyed: 2021 to 2023.
Presentation: Cardboard boxes of 6 bottles with twist-cap closures.
