Full-bodied dry red made from grapes grown in very high altitude vines located in the Yacochuya district of Salta, at 2,000 meters above sea level. Rocky sand soils. Manually harvested.
14.5% vol.
Appellation: Cafayate
Grape Variety: 100% Malbec
Winemaking: Fermented in concrete tanks with native yeasts. Partly (30%) aged during eight months in used French oak barrels.
Awards: Wine Enthusiast: 90 points
Tasting Notes: Deep violet color with purple reflections. Intense aroma of plums, black cherries & lavender. Rich, dry & structured, with more black fruit and traces of vanilla and mocha. Nice finish. Ideal with roasted meats, especially lamb chops. Best enjoyed: 2022 through 2026.

Wine Enthusiast: This linear red offers black fruit, dried herb and black pepper aromas. Medium in weight, it has firm tannins, vibrant acidity and concentrated flavors of blackberry and plum. Light notes of smoke and spice add complexity. It has a fresh medium finish.
