Full-bodied red made from grapes grown in very high altitude vines located in the Yacochuya district of Salta, at 2,000 meters above sea level. Rocky sand soils. Manually harvested. 14.5% vol.
Appellation: Cafayate
Grape Variety: 100% Malbec
Winemaking: Fermented in concrete tanks with selected neutral yeasts. A fresher and less structured wine than its "big brother" Domingo Molina Malbec.
Tasting Notes: Deep violet color with purple reflections. Forward aroma of blackberries, cherries & violets. Rich, concentrated fruit but with less structure than its "big brother" the Domingo Molina Malbec. Good black fruit and spices with a clean finish. Serve with grilled or roasted meats. Best enjoyed: 2021 to 2025.
