Sweet, medium bodied white made from botrytis-affected grapes, harvested manually over 6 or 7 days from a 60 year-old vineyard in Sainte-Croix-de-Mont, very near Sauternes. 12.5º vol.
Appellation: Sainte-Croix-du-Mont
Grape Variety: 80% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon & 10% Muscadelle.
Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels.
Awards: Concours General Agricole Paris 2020: Gold Medal
Tasting Notes: Pale golden color. Rich aroma of dried fruit and ripe apricots. Fresh, fruity and very well-balanced, ideal as an aperitif or served with goat cheese. 105 gr residual sugar. Best enjoyed: 2023 to 2031.
