Medium-bodied red made from grapes grown on sandy soils from four vineyards located the southwest portion of the appellation. Manual harvest. 14% vol.

Grape Variety: 85% Merlot & 15% Cabernet Franc
Winemaking: Vinified in stainless steel tanks & aged in French oak barrels (1/3 new).
Awards: Wine Enthusiast: 90 points. Andreas Larsson: 91 points.
Tasting Notes: Deep garnet color. Lovely aroma of red cherries & cassis. Smooth, open-knit style, with notes of plums, cinnamon & mint. Well-balanced and already approachable. Ideal wih roasted lamb. Best enjoyed: 2023 to 2030.

Andreas Larsson: "Medium deep garnet colour. Pure nose offering a slight hint of oak and toast with wild berries, leather, tobacco and violet. The palate is fairly dense with a soft extraction, grainy tannin with digest fruit, crushed wild berry and plum notes with good warmth and length."
