Medium-bodied red made from grapes grown on sandy soils from four vineyards located the southwest portion of the appellation. Manual harvest. 13% vol.
Grape Variety: 85% Merlot & 15% Cabernet Franc
Ageing: Vinified in stainless steel tanks & aged in French oak barrels (1/3 new).
Awards: James Suckling: 91 points.
Tasting Notes: Deep garnet color. Lovely aroma of red cherries & cassis. Smooth, open-knit style, with notes of plums, cinnamon & mint. Well-balanced and already approachable. Ideal wih roasted lamb. Best enjoyed: 2021 to 2028.
