Information about the winery

Château Teyssier is one of the most important Grand Cru producers in Saint Emilion. Owned by the 1990 a flamboyant "garagiste" Jonathan Maltus, it is renowed for making estate wines in the region. The success of its Saint Emilion Grand Cru Le Dôme (Parker 100 points) opened up the possibiliyt of micro-vinification, making estate wines within the appellation. Château Teyssier produces four estate wines (Le Dôme, Les Asteries, Vieux Chateau Mazerat and Le Carré), two reserve Château wines (Ch. Laforge and Ch. Teyssier) and two regional brands (Pezat and Clos Nardian). Jonathan Maltus is also active in Napa Valley, California, where he has created the World's End winery, also represented by Mundidrinks in Spain.
